One of the reason why I moved to Chamberì is so I could be near to the heartbeat, the good vibes and of course to the best food and cafes. I wanted to make it my goal to be able to curate the best of Madrid starting with CAFEs ☕️

… here’s my list so far.

How I rate

The Cup

Taste, extraction quality, origin transparency, consistency

The Vibe

Aesthetic, natural light, noise level, content potential

For Work

WiFi, outlets, table space, how long you can stay

Toma Café

Chamberí ~ Plaza de Olavide
Flat white
€3.50
The Cup
5/5
The Vibe
4/5
For Work
3/5

One of Madrid's originals. The coffee is genuinely great ~ not just specialty coffee for the sake of it. You can feel the intention behind every cup. Small, warm, always busy. It has that lived-in feeling that takes years to build.

Najis Speciality Coffee

Chamberí
Flat white
€6 pistachio latte
The Cup
5/5
The Vibe
5/5
For Work
4/5

This one surprised me. Chamberí is already a strong neighborhood but Najis holds its own ~ unpretentious, genuinely specialty, and with enough space to actually think. The staff knows their coffee and doesn't make you feel like a tourist for ordering it.

HanSo Café

Chueca
Flat white
€8 mocha peanut
The Cup
4/5
The Vibe
3/5
For Work
2/5

Specialty coffee that takes itself seriously ~ and prices itself that way. The mocha peanut was genuinely rich, layered, the kind of drink that makes you slow down. But at €8 a cup you are paying for the experience, not the caffeine. Worth trying once. Worth debating twice.

Coming soon

Video series coming to YouTube & Reels

Each cafe will get its own short-form video ~ the vibe, the coffee, and an honest take from someone who actually works from these places. Follow along.

Still drinking.

This list will keep growing. I'll add cafes as I visit them ~ probably one or two a month. If you're in Madrid and have a recommendation, find me on Instagram or Threads.
